A Superb Job

President George W Bush said yesterday Donald Rumsfeld is doing a "superb job."

Neo-Con definitions of superb:

  1. of surpassing excellence; as in "a superb liar"
  2. surpassingly good; as in "a superb arrogance"
  3. Coordinator of 772 American soldier's death; as in a "superb psychopath"
  4. Killer of 10,000 Iraqi civilians; as in a "superb butcher"
  5. Exponentially increase terrorism and instability in world; as in a "superb terrorist"
  6. Cruel; as in "superbly cruel"
  7. Evil; as in "superbly evil"

We have given the reins of democracy to a group of megalomaniac psychopaths. Murder, torture, monstrous cruelly is being done in our name. It is no longer safe to be an American in Bush's "new world order" where eighty-five percent of the people of the world revile us. We have been found out for the butchers that we are. In the world's eyes all Americans are culpable. We are not the savior of the world's people, but their greatest enemy. We do not promote freedom, but tyranny. Our motto had become, "In Greed We Trust." The God we pray to is a jealous vengeful God, out to wreak havoc on the Earth. We preach "What mine is mine and what's yours is mine as well." Machiavelli has become the grand architect of America. We supply the weapons and expertise to dictatorships around the world as we actively overthrown democratically elected governments.

Shame is upon America again as it was in the time of slavery, as it was in the times of broken Native American treaties, as in the times of worker repression, as in the time of our other wars of aggression. America is a grand lie that can be made right only by the people. We have been told (sold) that America is a land of great freedom, that we are a beacon of hope to the world, that we are the best of all nations. Lies, lies and more lies. America is once again shown to be the tyrant that it has always been.

Unless we act now to claim our shining national dream, the promise of a nation of liberty and justice for all will never be. As in so many other times in American history we should be more than outraged. We should be demanding the impeachment and arrest of the Bush cartel. Oil man should be the vilest insult one can give. We should throw out the war-mongers and corporate criminals, and their politician lackeys. America is not what we say it is, but what we do in the world. And what we do in no way matches with the ideal of the America that we all hold dear.

It is time, fellow citizens, to say no to the tyrants. It is time to honor the truly great Americans such as Harriet Tubman and Emma Goldman and the Wobblies and Martin Luther King and all the people who gave their lives for the cause of truth and freedom in America. It is time to stop worshiping at the alter of war. It is time to set the record straight. It is time to put all the "War Presidents" in their proper place in history. As the killers of innocents. As servants for the great land grabs of the 19th and 20th centuries. As the takers of resources from those too weak to defend them. As a shameful stain on America. It is time to stop ignoring the truth.

Johnny's Definition of Ignorant: (From the word ignore)

  1. To be aware of something but to ignore, or reject it, or to pretend that it doesn't exist
  2. To continue to believe in something that has been shown to be a lie

  3. To refuse to trust your "bullsh*t detector"

  4. To be unwilling to seek out the truth and instead rely on Fox News or Rush Limbaugh; as in "Ignorant American"
